Teri lives near Mansfield, Texas with her horses, dogs, cats, and her daughter’s iguana.  She is mom to two grown children pursuing dreams of their own in art, science, writing, and film.  She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Baylor University in 1988, with additional classes in sculpture at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and sculpture and film at the University of Texas at Arlington.  Her greatest influences in art are her kinship with the natural world around her, her Baylor sculpture professor – metal artist Paul Kemp, her artist grandmother, and the scrap metal from her grandfathers’ farms.

Teri has shown her work at Hue Gallery in Mansfield, Phillips Combs Design for Fort Worth Gallery Night, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, the Center for Performing Arts in Mansfield and private showings in the Fort Worth area. Her work has been featured in Mansfield Now Magazine, Sculptural Pursuit Magazine and D Magazine.  She also has a pencil drawing in the permanent collection at Baylor University.

She continues to expand her knowledge through self-study in philosophy and psychology, along with receiving certifications in Feng Shui, Therapeutic Art, and Usui Reiki.
